Dear CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Magnet Nurses,
As the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at CHI St. Vincent Hospital, I’m proud to share our comprehensive Magnet submission with you. As you read our document you will see how the nursing team’s commitment to excellence is embedded in the great work our nurses do every day.
The incredible accomplishments detailed in this report not only exemplify our teams’ ability to deliver the highest standard of care in the midst of ever-changing healthcare challenges, but also within an unprecedented global pandemic, and done with a determined resolve to enhance our professional development, engagement, practice and patient outcomes. More than ever, our nurses and interprofessional teams are independently practicing their strengths and taking on new opportunities to grow and advance within their roles. The dedication of our nurses is evident in our overview of quality, safety, patient and associate satisfaction as well as our shared governance structure.
I would like to give thanks to all our nurses, and the members of the interprofessional teams throughout the organization for playing such an integral role in this journey. It is a true privilege to work alongside such talented, passionate, and driven people who are dedicated to improving the lives of those they work with and the patients that they care for every day in our ministry to the communities we serve.
Sincerely,
Teresa Lambert, MBA, BSN, RN
